Self-Aligning Ball Bearing

A self-aligning ball bearing is a type of double-row ball bearing that can accommodate angular misalignment between the shaft and housing due to its spherical outer ring raceway. These bearings are ideal for applications where shaft deflection or mounting errors are expected, such as in transmission shafts, but they have limited axial load capacity and are not suitable for high-speed rotation.
