Polyamide (PA): Glass-fiber-reinforced polyamide is a common choice for medium to heavy-duty applications due to its high mechanical strength, wear resistance, and low friction characteristics, which are ideal for smooth and quiet pneumatic operation.
PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene): Used in applications requiring very low friction, high chemical resistance, and the ability to run in non-lubricated (dry running) systems. PTFE is often filled with bronze, carbon, or glass fibers to enhance its load-bearing capacity and strength.
